This notice explains the information Sungano needs to operate private wedding journeys, why it is used and the choices available to the people whose information is held in the service.
Information Sungano may hold
- Account information such as name, email address and authentication identifiers.
- Wedding-journey information supplied by the couple or authorised collaborators, including ceremony, household, guest and planning details.
- Family information deliberately entered into the service, including names, language, cultural terminology and review status.
- RSVP, dietary, accessibility, travel and practical information supplied for an invited household or guest.
- Order, product, entitlement and payment-status records. Sungano does not need to store full card details; card entry is handled by the payment provider.
- Security, audit and technical records needed to protect private access and investigate errors or misuse.
Why the information is used
- To provide the private wedding workspace and show each role only the information they are permitted to see.
- To deliver invitations, RSVP experiences, family review and planning features chosen by the couple.
- To authenticate users, prevent unauthorised access and maintain security and audit records.
- To verify orders, payment state, refunds, disputes and product access where paid products are used.
- To answer support requests and operate, diagnose and improve the service.
Family and guest information
Couples and authorised collaborators should only add information they are entitled to use for the wedding journey. Sungano does not independently invent family history, cultural identity or guest details.
Household and family-review access is designed to limit information to the people and ceremonies for which access was prepared. Private links and account credentials should not be forwarded to people who were not intended to receive them.
Service providers
Sungano relies on specialist technology providers for functions such as authentication, database hosting, application hosting and payment processing. They receive only the information needed to provide those services and are subject to their own security and data-protection obligations.
Where a payment provider handles checkout, its own privacy terms also apply to the payment information you provide directly to it.
Retention and deletion
Information is kept while it is needed to provide the wedding journey, maintain the account, resolve support or payment matters, preserve records the customer has chosen to retain, or meet applicable legal and security obligations. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
